I got a Pensive Muse from the free shop, and it looks like people are selling it in a expensive price. the Pensive Muse can turned into a book, what if I read it to my pet? does that provide better state boost than other regular books? What does the other Muses do? and what exactly is a Melody item?
all the muses can transform into another item. The book is no better than any other book. The reason it's expensive is because it's from the Blue Building (not everyone has the patience to get points for that shop). You can find the muse minions in different shops, like the Recycling Shop has two (Lovely and Historical I believe). Their descriptions should tell you what they transform into :)
A melody item is an item that was given out at Melody's Cottage at some point during Luminaire (December). Could be from this past year or years before!

The muses are also minions that can go into your zoo. That is why I ended up getting two of each. One for the zoo and one to transform into the wearable/edible/readable, etc...
I've been searching offsite, but the sites I encountered were rather rusty and not very informative, thanks a lot for the resources! I might only keep the wearables and sale the rest haha
